King David’s Force and Hope

When King David fled from his son Absalom, he said “Lord, how many are my foes?” (Ps. 3:1). Many thoughts God won’t rescue him.

But David did not lose hope, fought with his troops, used diplomacy, and yet said: “The Lord is my helper.” Fought, and prayed with strong faith, saying, “deliverance belongs to the lord. May your blessing be on your people.”

And it was. David became a powerful king, the country strong and thriving.

You do the same and God’s mercy will fill your life.
