We need to live this life not looking through the rear-view mirror. If someone has hurt you, forgive and move on. Leave it for God and he will care for it. Every time you have been disappointed, God has already set a new beginning for you. This is why you are still in this world. Every morning, every instance is a new beginning and a new opportunity for your salvation, which is life with God in His Kingdom.
Your best days are still up ahead. The Scripture says in Ecclesiastes 7:8 “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.” Let’s be like the Apostle Paul, who wrote the following. “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
This is a great post on resentments and holding on to things rather than to “Let go and let God” handle it! The prize always lies ahead not in the past! Amen!
Thank you and God bless you Jim. Indeed. This is a race and the prize lies ahead.
Thank you for this. I needed to hear it.
You are most welcome dear Jody. Thank you for reading. God bless you and keep you. Please help to share the word of God online.
